My name is Alan Manzueta, and I'm very excited to share this journey with you. I'm currently pursuing my Doctorate in Educational Leadership at New Jersey City University. With a robust nine years of experience in higher education, I've had the pleasure of exploring various roles and institutions.
I kicked off my academic adventure with an Associate Degree in Psychology from Bergen Community College, followed by a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Montclair State University.
My professional journey began in 2015 at Bergen Community College, where I served as a STEM Academic Counselor for about 5.5 years. This role fueled my passion for student support and academic advising. I then took a leap to the New Jersey Institute of Technology, becoming one of the Assistant Directors of the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF), a role I cherished for three years. The next chapter brought me back to Bergen Community College, where I now proudly serve as the Director of the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) department.
When I'm not immersed in the world of higher education, I embrace my adventurous side—whether it's doing walks with my puppy, carving down snowy slopes on my snowboard, clocking miles on my road bike, soaking up the sun with a good book at the beach, or enjoying quality time with family and friends.
